Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Bhaktilok collects when you shop at bhaktilok.store, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We have written it in plain English rather than legal language.

What we collect

Order information — your name, delivery address, phone number and email, so we can pack and deliver your order and contact you about it.
Payment information — handled entirely by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number, UPI PIN or bank credentials.
Device and browsing information — pages viewed, referring site, browser and approximate location, collected through cookies so the store works properly and so we can see which products people are interested in.
Communication — messages you send us on WhatsApp, email or phone about an order.

Why we use it

To process, pack, ship and deliver your order
To send order confirmations and delivery updates by SMS, WhatsApp or email
To verify Cash on Delivery orders before dispatch
To answer your questions and handle replacements
To understand which products and pages work, so we can improve the store
To show relevant advertising, where you have not opted out

Who we share it with

We share only what is necessary, and only with parties who help us run the store:

Shopify — our ecommerce platform, which hosts the store and processes orders
Courier partners — your name, address and phone number, so they can deliver to you
Payment providers — to take payment securely
Analytics and advertising providers — to measure how the store performs

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, and measure traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the store — the cart in particular — may stop working properly.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we are required to under Indian tax and accounting law. You can ask us to delete information that we are not legally required to retain.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct anything wrong, delete information we are not legally required to keep, or stop sending you marketing messages.

Our store is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Security

Payments are processed over an encrypted connection by our payment provider. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold.
