Two of the most protective materials in Indian tradition, strung together — Rudraksha, the tear of Mahadev, and Karungali (ebony wood), the sacred black wood of South Indian temples. Finished with silver capping between the beads.

Why devotees wear it

  • Rudraksha is traditionally worn for protection, calm and steadiness of mind
  • Karungali has been used in Tamil households for generations to ward off negativity
  • Worn daily, or kept in the puja ghar and worn on Mondays and during Sawan

What you receive

  • 1 × Divya Raksha mala — Rudraksha and Karungali beads with silver capping
  • Bhaktilok pouch with a care card

How to wear and care for it

Wear it against the skin or over clothing — both are acceptable. Remove before bathing. Wipe with a dry cloth; do not soak Karungali in water. Many devotees keep it in the puja space overnight on Mondays.

Best day to wear it

Monday — Mahadev's day — is traditionally favoured for first wearing it, along with any day through Sawan.
